X-Men; Astonishing X-Men (III) giant-sized issue [2008]

I think my favorite thing about the Whedon/Cassaday run of Astonishing was that they remembered how human beings (and mutants) don't exactly go "okay whatever, all is forgiven" at the end of every life 'arc'. So I was suprised how much I loved the interaction between Kitty and Emma in the Giant-Sized issue.

(other then the ten seconds with Northstar in Academy X) this is the first thing I ever read with Northstar in it. I loved him instantly.
